Buying a rug online is easy if you know what to check. These simple steps help you choose with confidence.
1. Measure your space. Mark the size on the floor with tape. Leave a border of bare floor around the rug. Our guide on choosing the right size can help.
2. Look at every photo. Each rug page has a full set of photos, including details. Colours can look slightly different on each screen, so look at the photos in daylight tones and ask us if colour is important to you.
3. Check the size and the type. The size is shown in centimetres in the title of each rug. Check whether it is a pile rug or a flat-woven kilim: see Kilim or Pile Rug?
4. Ask for more. If you would like more photos, a video or any information, contact us. We are glad to help.
5. Every rug is unique. Each rug is one of a kind, so when it is sold it will not return. If you like one, do not wait too long.
