TRADITIONAL RUGS
Traditional rugs are named after the town or region where they are made, such as Qom, Kerman, Hamadan or Mahal, which points to their design and colour. City workshops favour floral and medallion patterns, while tribal and village rugs, including Gabbeh from Qashqai nomads, have bolder, simpler designs.
